Job Summary:

The Purchase Executive will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, equipment, and services required for production and maintenance in the food industry. The role involves managing vendor relationships, ensuring timely procurement, and maintaining cost efficiency while ensuring compliance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers for electrical and production-related items.

Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.

Negotiate with vendors to achieve cost-effective procurement without compromising quality.

Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.

Coordinate with the production, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure material requirements are met.

Monitor inventory levels and reorder materials as per consumption.

Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and food industry standards.

Assist in vendor audits and supplier evaluations.

Handle purchase-related documentation and approvals through ERP or manual systems.

Support the purchase manager in developing procurement strategies.

Key Skills Required:

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Knowledge of electrical materials, spare parts, and machinery components.

Familiarity with food industry standards and hygiene requirements.

Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP / Tally preferred).

Good analytical and problem-solving ability.

Ability to work under rotational shifts and meet deadlines.

Rotational Shifts (8 hours each – Morning, Evening, Night)
