Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Procurement Management
: Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers and vendors for raw materials like Blocks, Wallpanel, Dry mix. Procure machinery spares, MRO items, and packing materials required for AAC block production.
Vendor Development & Negotiation
: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors. Negotiate price, credit terms, and delivery timelines to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
Inventory Control
: Coordinate with stores and production teams to maintain optimal inventory levels. Monitor stock levels and initiate purchase orders to avoid shortages or overstocking.
Purchase Order & Documentation
: Prepare and process purchase orders accurately and efficiently. Ensure proper documentation, invoice reconciliation, and GRN coordination.
Compliance & Reporting
: Ensure all purchases are in compliance with company policies and quality standards. Maintain procurement records and generate timely reports on purchase status, cost analysis, and vendor performance.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or related field.
2–6 years of experience in procurement, preferably in construction materials or AAC block industry.
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Knowledge of raw materials used in AAC block manufacturing.
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (e.g., Tally, SAP, or MRP & other).
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
