Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Source and evaluate vendors for
electronic components and materials
.
Float RFQs, compare quotes, and finalize suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery timeline.
Raise
Purchase Orders (PO)
and ensure approvals as per company policy.
Ensure
timely procurement
of materials based on production and inventory requirements.
Track and monitor order status; coordinate with suppliers for
on-time delivery
.
Maintain accurate procurement records, delivery schedules, invoices, and GRN documents.
Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contract agreements with vendors.
Develop and maintain a
vendor database
.
Work with engineering and production teams to ensure component availability for manufacturing.
Identify cost-saving opportunities through alternate sourcing and rate negotiations.
Coordinate with logistics for shipment clearance, transport, and delivery.
Ensure compliance with company standards, quality norms, and procurement policies.

Qualification

Bachelors Degree in
Any Discipline
(Commerce, Science, or Engineering preferred)
Experience in
Electronics Manufacturing / EMS industry
Knowledge of
electronic components
, sourcing, and procurement processes
Familiarity with
ERP systems
(SAP)
