Purchase Executive

The Purchase Executive is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, equipment, and services required by the organization. This role ensures timely purchase of quality products at competitive prices while maintaining strong relationships with vendors and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate reliable suppliers and vendors.
• Obtain and analyze quotations, compare prices, and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
• Collaborate with the accounts team to ensure timely vendor payments.
• Coordinate with internal departments to determine purchasing needs and specifications.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team for material requirements.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with suppliers to ensure continuous supply.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 0 – 3+ years of experience in procurement or purchasing.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP / Tally / Oracle preferred).
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
