Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Executive with prior experience in the shipping or marine industry. The candidate will be responsible for handling procurement activities, vendor management, material sourcing, and ensuring timely availability of required equipment and parts for vessels and service teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle end-to-end purchase processes — from inquiry to order placement and delivery follow-up.
Source and negotiate with suppliers for marine equipment, navigation, communication, and spare parts.
Prepare purchase orders, compare quotations, and maintain vendor databases.
Coordinate with technical and service departments to understand purchase requirements.
Ensure timely procurement and dispatch of materials to vessels or sites.
Track shipment, delivery schedules, and maintain stock records.
Manage purchase documentation, invoices, and records as per company policy.
Ensure cost-effective buying while maintaining quality standards.
Coordinate with finance for payment processing and vendor settlements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Supply Chain / Marine / Engineering or related field.
1–3 years of relevant experience in the shipping or marine industry (mandatory).
Strong knowledge of marine equipment, spares, and procurement procedures.
Good negotiation and communication skills.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
