We are currently hiring for a Purchase Engineer at our factory location in Vasai. Position Title: Purchase Engineer Department: Purchase Location: Vasai (Dhumal Nagar) Reports To: Purchase Manager Key Performance Areas & Responsibilities: Analyze business requirements and develop procurement strategies. Source and evaluate suppliers, conduct market research, and compare prices. Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers. Manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely payment. Collaborate with Engineering and Operations teams to understand technical requirements. Evaluate supplier technical capabilities and product quality. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies. Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships. Conduct supplier audits, performance evaluations, and continuous improvement initiatives. Resolve supplier-related issues and disputes. Analyze and optimize procurement costs. Identify cost-saving opportunities through supplier negotiations or process improvements. Develop and manage budgets for procurement projects. Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and contracts. Ensure compliance with company policies, laws, and regulations. Manage and track procurement-related documentation. Candidate Profile: Qualification & Experience: 3-5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management. Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil) or related field. Experience in engineering or manufacturing industry preferred. Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Proficient in procurement software and ERP systems. Knowledge of contracting, law, and regulatory compliance. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
