Purchase cum Inventory Management Executive

Role Overview: As a detail-oriented and proactive professional, you will be responsible for handling both procurement and inventory management functions. Your role will involve ensuring timely purchase of materials, maintaining optimal stock levels, coordinating with vendors, and accurately tracking inventory to support smooth business operations. Key Responsibilities: - Identify reliable vendors and suppliers, obtain quotations, and negotiate terms. - Raise purchase orders, follow-up for timely delivery, and maintain purchase records. - Ensure procurement of materials at competitive prices without compromising quality. - Develop and maintain vendor relationships and evaluate supplier performance. - Monitor stock levels, maintain minimum-maximum stock, and prevent shortages or overstocking. - Conduct regular physical verification of inventory and reconcile with system records. - Maintain records of inward/outward material movement and ensure accuracy in inventory software/ERP. Compliance & Reporting: You will need to ensure adherence to company procurement policies and statutory compliances. Additionally, preparing periodic MIS reports on purchases, stock status, and consumption trends will be part of your responsibilities. You will also need to highlight slow-moving or obsolete stock and recommend corrective actions. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Supply Chain, or related field. - Knowledge of Purchase and Inventory Management. - Strong negotiation and vendor management skills. - Knowledge of Tally/ERP systems and MS Excel. - Familiarity with GST, billing, and logistics documentation. - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
