As a Purchase Coordinator at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials, components, and services. Your strong coordination skills and supplier management expertise will be essential in maintaining quality, delivery timelines, and cost efficiency. - Coordinate and execute the purchase of solar-related materials such as solar panels, inverters, mounting structures, cables, and BOS components. - Request and evaluate quotations, prepare comparative statements, and negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers. - Ensure procurement processes are aligned with project schedules and company policies. - Track purchase orders and follow up with vendors to ensure on-time delivery. - Maintain vendor records, purchase documents, and inventory status in ERP or procurement systems. - Collaborate with project management and sales teams to understand material specifications and technical requirements. - Perform market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities. - Support inventory management and coordinate with logistics for material delivery and storage. - Resolve supplier issues related to delays, quality concerns, or non-conformance. - Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards in procurement practices. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. - 0-2 years of procurement experience, preferably in the renewable energy or solar power sector. - Understanding of solar PV system components and technical specifications. - Strong negotiation and communication skills. - Proficiency in MS Office is a plus. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure. - Knowledge of import/export procedures and regulatory compliance (if applicable).
