Purchase Assistant

As a Purchase Assistant at Vaighai Agro Products Limited, your role will involve supporting the procurement team in various tasks such as sourcing materials, preparing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, and maintaining accurate records. Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting in sourcing suppliers and collecting quotations. - Preparing purchase orders and following up for order confirmations. - Coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials. - Maintaining and updating vendor details, price lists, and purchase records. - Verifying invoices against purchase orders and delivery notes. - Tracking and monitoring stock levels in coordination with the store/warehouse team. - Assisting in resolving delivery issues, discrepancies, or quality concerns. - Generating and maintaining purchase-related MIS reports. - Ensuring compliance with company procurement policies and procedures. To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills: - Graduate in any discipline (preferably commerce or supply chain related). - 0-2 years of experience in purchase/procurement or a related role. - Good knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems. - Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills. - Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
