Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Procurement Strategy & Vendor Management

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with resort objectives.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors for F&B, housekeeping, engineering, consumables, linen, amenities, etc.

Purchasing Operations

  • Oversee daily procurement activities; review purchase indents and approve POs.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, documentation, and audit standards.

Inventory & Store Management

  • Oversee and supervise store operations, including receiving, storage, issuing, and stock tracking.
  • Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices and hygiene standards for perishables.

System & Reporting

  • Implement and manage inventory control systems.
  • Prepare and present MIS reports on purchasing trends, consumption, vendor performance, and cost savings.
  • Coordinate with Finance for budgeting, payments, GRN validation, and audit compliance.
