The PRO is responsible for coordinating the donor activities in the blood bank and is responsible for donor motivation and donor recruitment.
The PRO also functions as a counselor for all donors that are sero-positive for transfusion transmitted diseases.
Blood donor motivation for voluntary and replacement blood donation.
New donor recruitment from both relatives and other voluntary donors in the community.
Coordinating with the blood bank technologists regarding the blood stock position to help maintain a reasonable stock of blood components to help better patient care.
Counseling of sero-positive donors.
Post graduate degree in Medical Social Work with 1-2 years experience in blood bank.
1-4 years of experience in a blood bank.
