Public Relation Officer

Role Overview: As a PR Specialist in the healthcare industry, your responsibilities will include visiting all wards daily to ensure proper facilities placement and speaking to patient attenders to record any grievances. You will also retrieve complaints from the suggestion box, analyze them, and report to the PRM. Monitoring the security department, attending to complaints from patients/visitors, conducting counseling of patient attenders, and reporting any incidents or grievances to the PRM will be part of your daily tasks. Key Responsibilities: - Visit all wards daily to ensure proper facilities placement. - Speak to patient attenders and record any grievances. - Retrieve, analyze, and report complaints from the suggestion box to the PRM. - Monitor the security department. - Conduct counseling of patient attenders. - Report any untoward incidents, complaints, or grievances to the PRM. - Attend complaints from patients/visitors. - Follow up at the police station in case of eventualities. - Write and distribute news releases, feature articles to the press. - Compile press lists, edit newsletters, and manage a media information service. - Handle community relations, hospital publications, and provide information about new promotional opportunities and PR campaign progress. - Liaise with the community, donors, and local partners.
