The Quality Council of India (QCI) is a premier autonomous body set up by the Government of India. QCI is responsible for creating a Quality Mindset and envisions ensuring quality across products and services that touch every citizen. As an independent and autonomous body, QCI creates a mechanism for independent third-party assessments of products, services, and processes, coordinating its activities through its constituent boards and divisions. The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, serves as the nodal point for QCI.
To design and implement proactive, inclusive, and impactful mental health and wellbeing initiatives for employees.
Key Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Provide confidential short-term and long-term 1:1 counselling for concerns such as stress, burnout, grief, workplace anxiety, low motivation, interpersonal challenges, work-life imbalance, and self-esteem issues etc.
- Utilize non-diagnostic screening tools to support early identification, monitor overall wellness trends, and tailor support accordingly.
- Maintain clear ethical boundaries and refer individuals to external clinical professionals where required.
- Co-develop mental health and wellbeing policies.
- Collaborate with HR and leadership to align wellbeing goals with overall organizational mission and KPIs.
- Draft SOPs for wellness crisis intervention, return-to-work support, and DEI-centered psychological safety.
- Develop engaging, culturally relevant psychoeducational content, including videos, infographics, newsletters, and toolkits, to promote mental health awareness.
- Lead mental health literacy initiatives and stigma-reduction campaigns that empower employees to care for their mental well-being proactively.
- Design and deliver interactive workshops and group sessions on various topics.
- Customize sessions to departmental needs, addressing unique role-specific challenges and occupational stressors.
- Conduct internal needs assessments, feedback surveys, and outcome evaluations to measure psychological well-being across teams.
- Identify and integrate evidence-based innovations in workplace wellness.
- Stay informed on international benchmarks and contribute to internal publications or position papers that elevate the approach to workplace mental health.
