Location: New Delhi (with occasional travel across states) Division : Project Planning & Implementation Division (PPID), QCI Key Responsibilities • Support the Project Manager and Associate Managers in preparing high-quality reports, presentations, and communication material for internal and client submissions. • Edit, review, and refine project documents including the Inception Report, Field Assessment Report, and Final Report to ensure consistency, clarity, and accuracy. • Ensure all project documentation adheres to QCI’s editorial and formatting standards, maintaining a uniform tone, structure, and professional presentation. • Synthesize information from multiple data sources, field reports, and analytical findings into concise and coherent narratives. • Collaborate with Analysts and Data teams to translate complex insights, statistics, and findings into accessible and impactful written outputs. • Conduct quality checks on written materials for factual accuracy, logical flow, grammar, and readability. • Manage version control, maintain a central repository of project files, and ensure timely submission of all deliverables. • Contribute to communication briefs, executive summaries, and visual presentations for stakeholder workshops and reviews. Desired Skills & Competencies • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with strong command over grammar, structure, and clarity. • Ability to translate technical data and field findings into polished, reader-friendly reports. • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and formatting tools ; familiarity with data visualisation tools is a plus. • High attention to detail, consistency, and document flow. • Strong collaboration and coordination skills to work seamlessly across analytical, field, and management teams. • Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines while maintaining editorial precision. Experience & Qualification • Experience: 3–6 years in copy editing, technical writing, or documentation for consulting, research, or government projects. • Qualification: Postgraduate in English, Communications, Journalism, Public Policy, or related fields preferred. • Prior experience editing government or consulting reports will be an advantage.
