PRT Social studies with Graduation/Post Graduation in respective subject. Candidate should be hardworking and enthusiastic teaching professional with excellent subject knowledge and a sound understanding of the CBSE school curriculum.
The position will involve teaching students and also assisting in the encouragement of extra-curricular activities. The applicant should be a motivated individual with a keen interest in encouraging and inspiring students to love learning and excel in the respective subject areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and age-appropriate Social Studies lessons to primary classes as per CBSE guidelines.
• Create an interactive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and participation.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, and worksheets aligned with the school curriculum.
• Assess students regularly through classwork, activities, projects, and periodic tests.
• Maintain detailed records of students’ progress and share feedback with parents.
• Integrate storytelling, visuals, real-life examples, and activities to make Social Studies fun and meaningful.
• Participate actively in school events, assemblies, celebrations, and competitions.
• Ensure classroom discipline and promote positive behaviour.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in workshops/ trainings to enhance teaching practices.
• Support school policies and contribute to the holistic development of students.

Desired Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Humanities / Social Sciences) + B.Ed (mandatory for CBSE).
• Strong command over English (spoken & written).
• Ability to create joyful learning experiences for young learners.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Creative, patient, and passionate about teaching young children.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable using digital tools for teaching.

Experience

• 1–3 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school (preferred).
• Freshers with strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching may also apply.
