Role & responsibilities Prototype & POC Development Coordinator Location: Pune Reports to: Business Development Head Objective: Drive and manage prototype and Proof of Concept (POC) development activities, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and internal R&D teams. Key Responsibilities: Work closely with R&D, Engineering, and Suppliers to develop prototypes and POCs . Coordinate technical feasibility discussions with OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers. Manage the POC lifecycle , tracking costs, progress, and deadlines. Ensure smooth execution of prototype validation, testing, and customer feedback integration . Prepare technical documentation, test reports, and cost justifications for POCs. Identify and mitigate risks in prototype development by ensuring alignment with manufacturing feasibility . Support the Customer Engagement Lead in technical discussions and presentations. Required Skills & Experience: 5-8 years of experience in prototype development, POC management, or automotive R&D . Strong understanding of automotive materials, manufacturing processes, and validation testing . Experience working with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and product development teams . Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines . Proficiency in CAD, BOM management, and technical documentation is a plus. Preferred candidate profile
