The individual will adhere to all processes and procedures so that all tasks are completed safely and efficiently through the use of appropriate systems, tools and equipment specifically provided by Caldic. Key Responsibilities Become familiar with all operations procedures and the creation of products according to formulation procedures Ensure all in-coming loads have a P.O. number and record the time received on the P.O. Verify goods match the Bill of Lading and that the load should be received by Caldic USA Inc., Chicago. Attach the proper incoming labels (color chart) with the load and attach so that the labels are visible when racked to ensure proper stock rotation. Complete vehicle inspection checklist and submit to shipping/receiving office. Do not unload a pest infected load. Each in-coming skid must be inspected for damages as they are being unloaded along with lot numbers. Counts must be recorded on the receiving purchase order and bill of lading to be signed To use WMS and other related procedures as required. The role involves hands-on work in lab to conduct trial with designed set of experiments to optimize blends & create customer-specific solutions. Key Responsibilities Develop and optimize blends for various food applications, dairy, bakery, beverages, sauces, dressings, etc. Conduct laboratory and pilot-scale trials to evaluate texture, stability, mouthfeel, and sensory performance. Customize blends to meet customer requirements related to texture, viscosity, shelf life, nutrition, and processing conditions. Prepare blends/samples for designed Vitamin Minerals premixes Evaluate individual RM physical, chemical & sensorial properties as needed be Provide technical support to customers prepare prototypes, samples, and conduct onsite/virtual demonstrations. Maintain proper documentation of formulations, test results, and technical data sheets. Support the creation of technical literature, presentations, and training materials for internal teams and customers. Basic handling & maintenance of lab equipments & glasswares for day to day activities. Skills Strong understanding of ingredient functionality and interaction in food systems. Hands-on experience with food categories such as dairy, beverages, bakery, sauces, dressings, and plant-based products. Knowledge of sensory evaluation, texture analysis, and product stability testing. Familiarity with local and international food regulations. Job Requirements Bachelor s or Master s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Biotechnology, or related field. 2 3 years of experience in food application development, preferably with functional ingredient systems (e.g., stabilizers, emulsifiers).
