Prosthetist and Orthotist

Job Responsibilities include:

· To support P&O Clinical Service team studies to carry production, assemble and fit orthoses, prostheses, and other assistive devices.

· Producing P&O devices, Mobility aids as per the plan of action set by the line manager.

· Ensure regular Achieve feedback is collected from the service user.

· Ensure client details are documented properly.

· Attend staff, and dept. meetings regularly.

· Rising of team monthly report.

· To Support Line manager in conducting clinical trials for various assistive devices.

· Effective working relationships are an essential part of daily working life. The focus in this role is both internal (all colleagues within the division organisation) and external (Clients and other allied professionals’ communication).

Qualification: Bachelor of Prosthetist & Orthotist (BPO)

Experience: 0-1 year experience

Skills and Attributes:

· Communication skills. Orthotists and prosthetists must have excellent communication skills. They must be able to communicate effectively with the technicians who often create the medical devices. They must also be able to explain to patients how to use and care for the devices.

· Detail oriented. Orthotists and prosthetists must be precise when recording measurements to ensure that devices are designed and fit properly.

· Patience. Orthotists and prosthetists may work for long periods with patients who need special attention.

· Problem-solving skills. Orthotists and prosthetists must evaluate their patients’ situations and often look for creative solutions to their rehabilitation needs.

· Politeness towards colleagues and clients

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
