About Us: Ashray Akruti is a registered nonprofit, non-religious, non-government organization working for people with disability with a focus on children with hearing loss. Established in Hyderabad in the year 1996, the organization implements projects across health, education and skill development to improve the lives of people with Disability or Divyangjan’, as named by the Government of India. Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented, persuasive, and research-driven Proposal Writer to support our fundraising and program development efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for drafting high-quality funding proposals, concept notes, grant applications, and donor communication materials that align with the mission and goals of the organization. Responsibilities ; Conduct thorough research on projects, programs, and impact areas to gather relevant information for proposal development. Coordinate closely with project managers and teams to collect accurate and up-to-date project details, outcomes, and data. Draft clear, persuasive, and well-structured proposals tailored to the needs of funders and aligned with the organization’s mission. Collaborate directly with the founder & resource mobilizers to ensure proposal content reflects the organization’s vision and strategic priorities. Translate complex project information into compelling narratives that empower changemakers to effectively pitch and secure funding. Ensure all proposal documents meet donor guidelines and submission requirements. Maintain organized records of proposal drafts, submitted proposals, and related communications. Support the founder and project teams by providing timely and polished proposal materials as needed. Qualifications ; Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field. 2 years’ experience in proposal writing/content writing Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document formatting tools Excellent witing and verbal communication skills Role & responsibilities
