Proposal making & Solutions Expert

As an experienced professional in the field of Industrial Automation, you will be responsible for understanding customer problem statements through various communication channels like email, calls, tenders, RFQs, etc. You will be tasked with preparing detailed architectures for proposed solutions utilizing components such as PLC, VFD, Soft starter, and other instrumentation and automation components. Furthermore, you will design solutions for opportunities identified by the field sales team, ensuring the selection of the right product/platform for optimal cost. Your role will involve creating proposals, providing sales support, and coordinating with technical/execution teams, sales personnel, and customers. You will be required to develop functional requirement specifications by engaging with stakeholders and vendors for instrument selection and costing. Additionally, you will prepare diagrams, architectures, BOMs, and compliance statements for tenders, while also documenting client problems, feedback, and queries. A successful candidate for this position should possess a strong understanding of Instrumentation and Electrical engineering, including knowledge of DOL starters, VFDs, sensors, actuators, and automation components. Excellent interpersonal skills and proficiency in English and Hindi are essential. You should be proactive in learning and adapting to new technologies and vendors while maintaining high-quality standards and adherence to processes. In this role, you will collaborate with clients and team members, deliver presentations and demonstrations of offerings, and ensure regular reporting on the development and progress of opportunities. Your contribution will be crucial in driving technical sales growth and maintaining accountability in industrial automation sales or project execution.
