Proposal Engineer - Water Treatment

Key Responsibilities

• Proposal Development:

  Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals for EPC water treatment projects (RO, MBR, ETP, STP, ZLD, etc.).

• Cost Estimation:

  Develop accurate cost estimates covering equipment, materials, and services in collaboration with procurement and engineering teams.

• Technical Support:

  Review client specifications, tender documents, and RFPs to ensure compliance and identify risks or deviations.

• Design Coordination:

  Work with process and design engineers to create preliminary process flow diagrams (PFDs), layouts, and equipment selections.

• Vendor Management:

  Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers/subcontractors to optimize technical solutions and pricing.

• Client Interaction:

  Participate in pre-bid meetings, technical discussions, and client clarifications to strengthen proposal competitiveness.

• Documentation:

  Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities), compliance statements, and other supporting proposal documentation.

• Market Intelligence:

  Track competitor pricing, market trends, and emerging technologies to enhance proposal strategies.

• Tender Intelligence:

  Understanding of tenders to prepare proposals accordingly.
