Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative and analytical Prompt Engineer to develop, refine, and optimize prompts for AI language models to enhance their performance across various applications. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in natural language processing (NLP), AI model behavior understanding, and the ability to craft effective instructions that maximize AI output quality and relevance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and test prompts to guide AI language models for specific tasks such as content generation, summarization, classification, or customer support.
  
• Experiment with prompt phrasing, context setting, and chaining to improve accuracy, creativity, and reliability of AI outputs.
  
• Analyze model responses to identify patterns, biases, and failure modes, and adjust prompts accordingly.
  
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to integrate prompt engineering into AI workflows and applications.
  
• Document prompt designs, best practices, and lessons learned to build a knowledge base.
  
• Stay updated on latest advancements in NLP, prompt engineering techniques, and AI models.
  
• Conduct A/B testing and performance evaluation of prompt variations.
  
• Optimize prompts for efficiency, minimizing token usage while maximizing output quality.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Data Science, AI, or related field.
  
• Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and AI language models (e.g., GPT, BERT).
  
• Strong understanding of AI model behavior and language generation principles.
  
• Excellent written communication and language skills with an eye for detail.
  
• Analytical mindset with ability to design experiments and interpret results.
  
• Familiarity with Python and AI/ML libraries is a plus.
  
• Experience with prompt engineering tools and platforms is a bonus.
  

Preferred:

• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in relevant fields.
  
• Experience working with large language models (LLMs) in production environments.
  
• Knowledge of AI ethics and bias mitigation techniques.
  
• Experience in AI-driven product development or conversational AI.
