PROJECT PROCUREMENT EXECUTIVE/ENGINEER -> PROCUREMENT EXECUTIVE/ENGINEER

You should possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical) and have 1-2 years of experience in project-based procurement, with a preference for EPC and environmental industries. Proficiency in MS Office is required along with strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills. The ability to manage multiple procurement tasks under tight deadlines is essential. Your responsibilities will include managing the end-to-end procurement process for project-specific materials and services. You will need to identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery. Coordination with project managers, design teams, and site engineers to understand material needs is crucial. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing and issuing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and ensuring compliance with contract terms. Building and maintaining vendor databases, as well as developing long-term relationships, will be part of your role. Monitoring market trends, material availability, and price fluctuations to optimize purchasing is also required. Preferred skills for this role include experience with ETP/STP/WTP projects or industrial procurement. An understanding of technical drawings, BOQs, and material specifications would be beneficial.
