Key Responsibilities A VE PM is responsible for cross-functionally anchored technical solutions, agile and SAFe large scale development way of working management, engineering releases and other product documentation, parts to vehicle builds and test objects, technical description, project time plan, project cost estimate, product cost estimate, and more. A VE PM ensures cross-functional networks are established, follows GDP and GDIs, reports QDCF status, secures resources, leads and coordinates activities, anchors technical solutions, conducts proactive risk management, and more. Authorities A VE PM has the authority to recommend alternative technical solutions, request problem resolution and resources, prioritize activities, agree on project prioritization, and more. Competence The needed competences include a degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, PMP certification, Agile & SAFe certification, experience in automotive mechanical parts regional resourcing and quality assurance, cross-functional project management, automotive product development and resourcing, networking abilities, communication skills, leadership, complete vehicle knowledge, design & analysis knowledge, self-driven initiative, involvement in organizational activities, customer and business focus.
