Position Summary

Key Responsibilities: -

Project Planning and Execution

• Prepare detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation for solar pump systems under the KUSUM scheme.
• Conduct site surveys, system design, and installation supervision to meet scheme requirements.
• Monitor progress and ensure timely completion with adherence to project timelines and quality benchmarks.

Coordination with Government Bodies and Payment Handling

• Liaise with MSEDCL, MEDA, Zilla Parishad (ZP), MNRE, and other government authorities for approvals, inspections, and clearances.
• Assist in subsidy application, documentation, compliance, and submission processes.
• Track fund releases and payments, ensuring proper reconciliation and reporting.
• Resolve queries and ensure smooth communication between the company, clients, and government departments.

Team Management and Technical Support

• Lead and supervise site engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and support for installation and troubleshooting.
• Ensure all work adheres to safety standards and scheme guidelines.

Client Relationship Management

• Understand customer requirements and address concerns effectively.
• Provide updates on project milestones, funding status, and installation progress.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by providing high-quality service and prompt issue resolution.

Cost and Financial Management

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and ensure that projects stay within financial parameters.
• Coordinate with finance teams to maintain accurate billing, fund tracking, and reporting.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising safety or efficiency.

Quality Assurance and Safety Compliance

• Ensure installations comply with technical specifications, industry standards, and safety protocols.
• Conduct regular inspections and resolve field-level issues promptly.
• Maintain thorough documentation of works carried out, tests, and approvals.

Risk and Issue Management

• Identify potential risks in funding, installation, or client coordination.
• Implement mitigation strategies and ensure contingency plans are in place.
• Balance deadlines, budgets, and quality requirements effectively.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Renewable Energy Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in solar pump projects, preferably under government schemes like KUSUM.
• Strong understanding of subsidy mechanisms, scheme guidelines, and regulatory approvals.
• Experience working with government bodies such as MSEDCL, MEDA, ZP, and MNRE is essential.
• Excellent project management, communication, and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, AutoCAD) and ERP systems.
• Sound knowledge of safety and quality protocols in field installations.
