Job Description

You will be joining Shaishav, a civil society organization that has been dedicated to empowering children from marginalized and underprivileged communities since 1993. Operating in the slums of Bhavnagar city and tribal villages of Narmada district, Shaishav adopts a rights-based approach to create safe and child-friendly learning spaces that promote education, play, and holistic development. Emphasizing children's participation, Shaishav views children as active participants in decisions that affect their lives, allowing them to express themselves freely and reach their full potential. Many children who were part of Shaishav continue to embody the values they learned, even as adults. Your responsibilities in this role will include: - Leading planning, implementation & monitoring of Balsena activities - Developing training content, facilitation, and evaluation tools - Managing data, monthly reports & donor communication - Supporting social media, publicity & events and representing Shaishav when needed To be eligible for this position, you should have: - A graduate degree with at least 3 years of experience working with children (trainers/content developers preferred) - Comfort with English, Hindi, and Gujarati (preferred) - Good computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite - Willingness to travel and work as a senior member of a small, dynamic team If you are passionate about working with children and empowering communities, and meet the above qualifications, please send your CV and cover letter to shaishavhr2022@gmail.com.
