About Shaishav

Shaishav is a civil society organization established in 1993, dedicated to empowering children from marginalized and underprivileged communities. Operating in the slums of Bhavnagar city and tribal villages of Narmada district, Shaishav adopts a rights-based approach to create safe and child-friendly learning spaces that promote education, play, and holistic development. Emphasizing children's participation, Shaishav views children as active participants in decisions that affect their lives, allowing them to express themselves freely and reach their full potential. Many children who were part of Shaishav continue to embody the values they learned, even as adults.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead planning, implementation & monitoring of Balsena activities
• Develop training content, facilitation and evaluation tools
• Manage data, monthly reports & donor communication
• Support social media, publicity & events; represent Shaishav when needed.

Eligibility:

• Graduate + 35 yrs experience working with children (trainers/content developers preferred)
• Comfortable with English, Hindi and Gujarati (preferred)
• Good computer skills (MS Office, Google Suite)
• Willingness to travel and work as a senior member of a small, dynamic team
