Project Manager / Senior Project Manager Content Acquisition
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to coordinate a number of key technology initiatives for Snapp, our in-house , next generation peer review system . This role will be responsible for driving delivery across multip le teams toward a shared vision and objectives . F ocus ed on facilitati ng agile delivery, maintaining a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring effective coordination and collaboration across teams and departments.
Content Acquisition (CA) is a domain in Springer Nature Digital that ensures our researchers, editors and reviewers can publish their content in the most efficient, user-centric and rewarding process possible. Our vison is An intuitive, convenient and rewarding publishing experience.
SN Digital (SND) is a technology division of Springer Nature responsible for acquiring , maintaining and delivering millions of articles used by researchers, scientists and students around the globe.
There are about 290 of us in London, Berlin, Lisbon, Pune, New York, Madrid, Dordrecht and Heidelberg. We work in collaborative, multi-disciplinary delivery teams, developing digital products and services that answer user problems and support business goals.

Our products and initiatives deliver value to our global busines s through collaboration between cross- discipline teams. Project Managers work with stakeholders to ensure the technical deliveries are understood, planned, tracked, delivered on time , to budget and are fit for purpose . You will be responsible for tracking and reporting on the project status and be a leading figure in formulating quarterly OKRs and roadmaps. You will lead on harne ssing the team s talents to ensure they are delivering the highest value products and functionalities .
You will be working with cross functional delivery team s with different backgrounds and experience levels. All team members collaborate to deliver solutions that best satisfy the needs of our users and we are working to create a culture that encourages new ideas and innovation, but within the boundaries of the technologies that best suit the Springer Nature vision.

Coordinate the delivery of initiatives across multiple teams. Creating delivery plans, tracking milestones, managing risk, reporting regularly and openly

Act as the facilitator to t eams by, but not limited to, scheduling and supporting ceremonies, workshops and inceptions.

Lead cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive, coordinated, and continuous delivery across our portfolio of projects and products, fostering collaboration between teams and disciplines.
Within 12 Months you will

Collaborate with Product Managers , B usiness Analyists , UX and Tech Lead s to create clear, user-focused objectives , aligning the team to initiatives aimed at achieving these .

Sustain a culture of continuous improvement by championing process and technical excellence across teams, ensuring working software is delivered frequently , engineering quality is upheld, customer issues are addressed, and communication is effective both within and between teams.

Ability to organize and facilitate ceremonies, workshops, and inceptions, fostering collaboration and engagement.
