Project Manager

Role Objective

metro station construction projects

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for

  end-to-end execution

  of metro station projects
• Plan, schedule, and monitor

  civil, structural, architectural, finishing, and MEP works

• Coordinate with

  Metro Authorities, Consultants, Clients, and Government Departments

• Ensure execution strictly as per

  approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and work procedures

• Prepare and monitor

  project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and cash flow

• Review and approve

  method statements, bar bending schedules, BOQs, and RA bills

• Manage site teams including

  construction managers, engineers, supervisors, safety officers, and subcontractors

• Conduct

  daily, weekly, and monthly progress review meetings

• Identify project risks, delays, and cost overruns and implement corrective actions
• Ensure strict compliance with

  safety, quality, and environmental standards

• Handle

  contractual issues, variations, claims, and coordination with vendors

• Ensure timely procurement and availability of materials and machinery
• Submit regular

  progress, quality, safety, and cost reports

  to senior management
• Ensure timely project handover and closure documentation

Required Skills & Competencies

• Proven experience in

  metro station or large infrastructure projects

• Strong knowledge of

  Metro Rail construction standards and specifications

• Expertise in

  project planning, scheduling, and cost control

• Proficiency in

  MS Project / Primavera

• Sound understanding of

  contracts, billing, and claims management

• Strong leadership, coordination, and decision-making skills
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work under strict timelines
• Excellent communication and reporting skills

Educational Qualification

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering

  (Mandatory)
• Postgraduate qualification in

  Construction Management / Project Management

  will be an added advantage.
