Role & responsibilities

Project Manager SCADA/DMS/OMS

SCADA, DMS, OMS systems

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Execution

• End-to-end management of

  SCADA, DMS, and OMS projects under RDSS

  from initiation to commissioning and handover.
• Planning, monitoring, and controlling project scope, timelines, cost, quality, and resources.
• Coordination with DISCOMs, utilities, consultants, OEMs, system integrators, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensuring compliance with

  RDSS guidelines, utility standards, and contractual requirements

  .

2. BOQ Preparation & Project Documentation

• Preparation and finalization of

  Bill of Quantities (BOQ)

  as per project requirements.
• Preparation, review, and management of project documentation including:

• DRS (Detailed Requirement Specification)

• FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) procedures and documentation
• Installation & commissioning documents
• Billing and milestone-related documentation
• Ensuring timely submission and approval of documents from utilities/clients.

3. Installation, Integration & Commissioning

• Supervision and execution of

  installation and commissioning of SCADA/DMS/OMS software

  .
• Complete integration of

  RTU/FRTU with Control Centres

  .
• Integration using

  IEC 101 / IEC 104 communication protocols

  .
• Integration of

  Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs)

  with RTUs.
• Ensuring seamless data flow between field devices and control centers.

4. Network, Server & System Configuration

• Configuration of

  network devices

  including switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Configuration, administration, and maintenance of

  SCADA/DMS/OMS servers

  .
• Hands-on experience with:
• RTU / FRTU
• LDMS
• MFT
• Routers, switches, firewalls
• Servers and databases

5. Troubleshooting & Analytical Support

• Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting

  SCADA, DMS, OMS systems

  , hardware, software, and databases.
• Root cause analysis of system, communication, and integration issues.
• Coordinating with OEMs and vendors for resolution of technical challenges.

6. Commercials, Billing & Customer Management

• Monitoring project milestones linked to commercial payments.
• Preparation of

  billing documents and invoice generation

  as per contract terms.
• Coordination with finance teams and clients for timely payments.
