Job Description

The Project Manager - Planning is responsible for all scheduling and planning activities in alignment with contract or client requirements. Your primary tasks include translating the project's scope of work into activities, preparing and updating project progress reports, and supervising project execution efficiently and effectively. You will track progress, time, cost, quality, and EHS adherence as per schedule, conduct risk analysis, and develop mitigation plans. Resolving cross-functional issues at the project level and ensuring resource planning, control, and productivity analysis are also key aspects of this role. As the Project Manager, you will coordinate with all contractors engaged in project work to address interdependency issues and achieve project objectives. Additionally, you will prepare presentations for senior management meetings, present integrated schedules using tools like Primavera, update schedules based on inputs, identify critical paths, and generate related reports such as delay analysis, resource loading, and utilization reports. Your responsibilities will also entail developing catch-up plans, conducting schedule crashing and fast tracking as needed, and reporting on progress, cost consumption, delays, milestones, risks, and more. To excel in this role, you should have proficiency in planning and scheduling software like MS Project or Primavera, a BE Civil degree combined with a PG in Project Management (Primavera P6 experience is mandatory), at least 13 years of relevant experience, and knowledge of the PMP certification process. Technical awareness of civil, MEP, and architectural works is essential, along with exceptional organizational, motivational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail, observation ability, and a commitment to quality are also vital attributes for success.
