Job Description

A project manager will be responsible for leading a project from its inception to execution -responsible for meeting quality and schedule commitments of the project within the budget and need to ensure customer satisfaction/delight. This includes planning, execution and managing the people, resources and scope of the project on a day to day basis.

Key Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities of the position include

  • Able to handle single or multiple projects with 25-30 team members.
  • Preferred Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification OR Agile Certified Practitioner
  • Proven experience managing multiple development and support projects; full-life cycle experience.
  • Plan and implement projects
  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables
  • Define tasks and required resources
  • Collect and manage project team
  • Manage budget
  • Allocate project resources
  • Create schedule and project timeline
  • Track deliverables
  • Support and direct team (Technical Leadership)
  • Lead quality assurance
  • Monitor and report on project progress
  • Present reports on progress as well as problems and solutions to stakeholders
  • Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs
  • Evaluate and assess result of project.
  • Invoice preparation and submission using Marlabs process and tools
  • Should possess very good client management skills, communication skills
  • Ability to understand and control quality metrics and operational parameters
  • Able to do the risk management and need to identify and obtain required support and advice from the system for the management, planning and control of the project
  • Ensure the resource management done using Marlabs systems as per the approved RLS (Resource Loading Sheet)
  • Manage project team s appraisal and career
  • Participate and contribute to organizational initiatives like recruitment drives, internal or external certifications and audits.
  • Proven leadership skills and expertise in conflict resolution
  • Analytical and strong organizational skills, with excellent written and verbal ability
  • Proficiency with related software tools including but not limited to JIRA, MS Excel, Microsoft Project Plan etc.
