Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a solid
understanding of technical concepts to lead and manage our coding team andprojects related to our GPT product. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years ofrelevant experience, strong project management skills, and a foundational graspof technical areas to effectively communicate and collaborate with technicalteams. This role focuses on ensuring project timelines are met, tasks areclearly defined, and collaboration across cross-functional teams is seamless.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee
and manage the coding team, including task assignments, tracking progress, andensuring timely delivery of projects.
- Gather
client requirements, translate them into system and technical requirements, andcommunicate effectively with the coding team.
- Define
project scope, goals, milestones, timelines, and deliverables in collaborationwith stakeholders.
- Develop
detailed project plans, track progress, mitigate risks, and ensure timelycompletion of projects within scope and budget.
- Serve
as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the coding team.
- Facilitate
agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, andretrospectives to maintain team alignment and productivity.
Experience:
- 5 +
years of project management experience in the tech industry, preferably in AI,SaaS, or software development.
- Proven
track record of managing multiple, complex projects and meeting deadlines.
- Minimum
of 2 references from previous clients or companies.
Technical Knowledge:
- Understanding
of technical concepts such as APIs, software architecture, and general softwaredevelopment processes to effectively communicate with the coding team.
- Familiarity
with technical terminology and workflows, enabling participation in technicaldiscussions and decision-making processes.
- Ability
to translate functional and non-functional requirements into actionable tasksfor the coding team.
- Awareness
of architecture frameworks and design principles, with enough knowledge tograsp the context of technology solutions being implemented.
Project Management Skills:
- Proficiency
in using project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana).
- Strong
experience managing agile projects and facilitating sprints and other agileceremonies.
Communication & Leadership:
- Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to translate complextechnical concepts into clear, actionable plans for non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven
ability to lead, motivate, and collaborate with cross-functional teams,ensuring clear task ownership and accountability.
