Project Manager

Job Summary:

The Infrastructure Technical Project Manager is responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and executing IT infrastructure projects, ensuring the delivery of robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure solutions. This role demands a balance of technical expertise and project management skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while meeting business and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Management:

• Plan, initiate, and execute IT infrastructure projects, including server installations, cloud migrations, network upgrades, and data center setups.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Track project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure adherence to project methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.).

2. Stakeholder Engagement:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate technical requirements into actionable project goals.
• Act as the main point of contact for project-related communications, managing expectations and ensuring alignment between stakeholders.
• Facilitate regular status updates and steering committee meetings.

3. Technical Oversight:

• Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement infrastructure solutions.
• Provide technical guidance during project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
• Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of deployed solutions.
• Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and internal teams for procurement, implementation, and support.

4. Risk Management and Compliance:

• Identify and manage project risks, implementing mitigation plans as necessary.
• Ensure all infrastructure projects comply with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

5. Resource Management:

• Allocate and manage resources efficiently, ensuring optimal utilization of personnel and tools.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance feedback to team members.
