Job Description

You will be responsible for leading Instrumentation Installation and Commissioning projects across industrial facilities. Your key responsibilities will include: - Planning and managing end-to-end execution of instrumentation installation and commissioning projects. - Coordinating with engineering, procurement, and site execution teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones. - Leading site teams to ensure adherence to drawings, specifications, and safety protocols. - Supervising installation of field instruments, control panels, junction boxes, cabling, and signal testing. - Overseeing commissioning activities including loop checks, functional tests, calibration, and integration with control systems (PLC/DCS/SCADA). - Liaising with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to manage expectations, site issues, and approvals. - Maintaining and monitoring project schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and progress reports. - Ensuring compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISA, IEC), and Maxima's quality and safety guidelines. - Preparing and submitting documentation such as ITPs, FAT/SAT reports, and commissioning protocols. - Supporting handover and final acceptance with all necessary documentation and client sign-offs. Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelors degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent. - 8-12 years of relevant experience in project execution of instrumentation systems, preferably in oil & gas, power, pharma, or process industries. - Proven track record managing site activities from installation through commissioning. - Strong knowledge of industrial instrumentation (transmitters, analyzers, control valves, etc.). - Familiarity with control systems (PLC, DCS) and communication protocols (HART, Modbus, Profibus). - Experience in working with EPC firms, OEMs, and client representatives. - PMP certification (preferred but not mandatory). Skills & Competencies: - Project management and leadership skills. - Technical expertise in instrumentation and control systems. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong organizational and time management capabilities. - Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure. - Proficient in MS Project, AutoCAD, and project documentation tools. Working Conditions: - Willingness to travel to project sites (domestic and/or international). - Ability to work in industrial environments and follow all HSE guidelines.
