Project Manager - Industrial Automation

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead and coordinate industrial automation and control system in refineries/ pharma manufacturing process.The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in GMP-compliant automation systems and proven experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects in the pharma industry/ oil refineries . Role & responsibilities Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of automation and control system projects (e.g., PLC, SCADA, DCS, HMI) for production facilities. Coordinate with internal teams (Engineering, QA, IT, Manufacturing) and external vendors to ensure timely, on-budget, and compliant project execution. Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Ensure compliance with GMP, GAMP5, 21 CFR Part 11, and data integrity standards. Oversee system design, FAT/SAT, installation, commissioning, and validation (IQ/OQ/PQ). Manage automation-related change controls, deviations, and risk assessments. Prepare and maintain project documentation (URS, FDS, test protocols, project schedules). Facilitate communication among stakeholders and provide regular progress reports to leadership. Drive continuous improvement and standardization in automation project execution Preferred candidate profile Should have experience in a managerial role. Preferred Certifications (Optional): GAMP5 Training Siemens/Allen-Bradley/DeltaV Certified Programmer ISA/ISPE Membership or Certifications
