Project Manager - Engineering

You will be overseeing civil and interior fit-out projects for IT campuses/offices at Wipro Limited. Your main responsibilities will include ensuring that projects meet quality, budget, and timeline requirements by coordinating with stakeholders, managing multiple projects, optimizing construction processes, and leading a team of project managers and engineers. You will be required to provide cost estimates and budget requirements based on design drawings and specifications, support the procurement team in vendor evaluation, implement safety and quality requirements, and contribute to procurement strategies. Additionally, you will need to manage project timelines and budgets, focus on continuous improvement plans, reduce site work, and increase the use of prefabricated materials and subsystems. As part of your role, you will also be involved in supporting, developing, and improving the procurement strategy, providing cost and ROI analysis, establishing requirements, and working on standardization. Managing a team of project managers, engineers, and supervisors will also be under your purview. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering, have a minimum of 15-20 years of experience, and possess over 10 years of project management or construction management experience. Experience in planning, coordinating, and executing commercial building projects, particularly in civil and interior fit-out work for IT/ITES buildings, data centers, or large commercial mixed-use developments, will be advantageous. PMP certification is desirable. You are expected to be familiar with civil, mechanical, electrical, and other services work, have knowledge of safety, quality, and compliance requirements in building and construction, and demonstrate problem-solving and communication skills. The ability to work in a cross-functional role, multitask, deal with ambiguity, and proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools are crucial for this role.
