Job Description

JOB SUMMARY of Quote Representative

Under general supervision, provides administrative and coordination support to the Engineering Quote Team. Reviews Request for Quote (RFQ) data packages, identifies missing inputs, and collaborates with various supporting departments to obtain the necessary engineering information in support of new and potential RFQs. Also facilitates summary preparation and review final quote with internal stakeholders. FM's/OD/Site 3-pack Team)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Review data packages from existing and prospective customers, including Bills of Material (BOM), assembly drawings, fabrication drawings, PCBA Gerber/ODB++ files, and test product specifications.
Identify and release any missing data required to initiate the Request for Quotation (RFQ) process.
Collaborate with Engineering and the Customer Cross-Functional Team (CFT) to resolve open items (OIL) and ensure data completeness.
Initiate and coordinate the quotation process for materials, labor, testing, manufacturing engineering, assembly, packaging, and other customer-specific requirements.
Proactively manage the quote backlog by prioritizing, addressing issues, and driving timely resolution.
Ensure adherence to internal deadlines to support timely and accurate quote submissions.
Prepare comprehensive quote summaries and conduct reviews with internal stakeholders (e.g., Functional Managers, OD and Site 3-Pack team) and external customer representatives.
Manage and maintain pre-S&CAT and 3-Pack approvals for final quote submission.
Archive RFQ documentation systematically for future reference and audit readiness.
Conduct Quote Vs actual variance analysis upon Project or program award and before moving project to product validation phase.

Business Development/Program Management.

May be requested to work overtime to meet deadline requirements.
Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
May perform other assigned duties like Project Management when there is no load for Quote.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Solid understanding of the fundamental principles of electronics manufacturing.
Proven experience in data entry and presentation preparation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders.
Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
Strong multitasking abilities, with the capacity to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within CFT
Proficient in the use of personal computers and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and email platforms.
