Project Manager (Civil)

As a Project Manager in this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful planning, execution, and completion of construction projects. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing detailed project plans and schedules, which encompass timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. - Preparing cost schedules using the percentage method for effective progress tracking. - Coordinating with design, procurement, and execution teams to ensure alignment of schedules. - Preparing and monitoring project budgets, tracking actual expenditure against planned costs, and taking corrective action as needed. - Ensuring optimal resource utilization to prevent cost overruns. - Monitoring day-to-day site activities to ensure progress according to the schedule. - Encouraging teams and subcontractors to meet deadlines while upholding quality standards. - Conducting regular site visits to monitor work progress effectively. - Coordinating between workers, site engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth operations. - Addressing and resolving site-related issues promptly to avoid delays in project timelines. - Motivating and guiding employees to uphold productivity and safety standards. - Ensuring adherence to quality standards, specifications, and safety norms throughout the project. - Conducting inspections and quality checks at various stages of project execution. - Ensuring project completion and client handover within agreed timelines. - Providing regular progress updates to management and clients. - Highlighting risks, delays, or budget concerns and proposing suitable solutions. In terms of qualifications, the company prefers candidates with a Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of experience in Civil engineering. Proficiency in English, Malayalam, Hindi, and Tamil languages is preferred. The work location is based in Malappuram, Kerala, with a willingness to travel up to 25%. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires in-person work. Please note that the ability to commute/relocate to Malappuram, Kerala, is preferred for this role.,
