About the Role

Industrial Automation manager

Key Responsibilities

PLC & SCADA Automation

• Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs (Siemens/Allen-Bradley/Delta/Schneider/Mitsubishi).
  
• Design and configure SCADA/HMI systems for plant operations.
  
• Integrate 21 CFR Part 11 compliant features (if applicable).
  

Industrial IoT & Software

• Work on IoT-based data acquisition, dashboards, and remote monitoring systems.
  
• Configure communication protocols such as MODBUS, OPC, TCP/IP, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP.
  
• Support automation software development and version control.
  

Instrumentation Engineering

• Install, calibrate, and troubleshoot instruments (flow, pressure, temperature, level, conductivity, pH, TOC, etc.).
  
• Prepare calibration documentation and support periodic validation activities.
  

Electrical Support

• Assist with electrical panel wiring, cable routing, and termination.
  
• Support MCC/PCC/Control panel testing, FAT/SAT, and field electrical inspections.
  

Project Execution & Commissioning

• Execute automation projects from design to commissioning.
  
• Perform site installation supervision, system testing, loop checking, and logic verification.
  
• Conduct equipment commissioning and handover to operations/QC/engineering teams.
  

Documentation & Compliance

• Prepare project-related documents including FAT/SAT, IO lists, P&IDs, wiring diagrams, logic descriptions, and manuals.
  
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, safety, and QMS requirements.
  
• Support audits with required technical documentation.
  

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering.
  
• 510 years of relevant experience in PLC/SCADA/Automation/IOT/Instrumentation.
  
• Strong knowledge of industrial protocols and field automation architecture.
  
• Hands-on experience with commissioning and troubleshooting.
  
• Good understanding of instrumentation and electrical systems.
  

Skills Required

• PLC programming (Siemens/AB/Delta/Schneider/Mitsubishi).
  
• SCADA/HMI development (WinCC, Wonderware, iFix, etc.).
  
• IoT systems, cloud dashboards, data logging.
  
• Strong instrumentation and electrical knowledge.
  
• Project execution, site supervision, and documentation.
  
• Problem-solving and communication skills.
