Project Management Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end project lifecycle from kickoff to handover.

• Prepare and track project schedules (MS Project or equivalent).
• Coordinate with internal teams design, procurement, manufacturing, and site teams.
• Ensure customer requirements are clearly understood and implemented.
• Conduct project reviews, escalations and timely solutions to stucks for ensuring smooth execution of project
• Monitor project costs, timelines, and quality adherence.
• Prepare project documentation MOMs, DAPs, approvals, progress reports, and closure reports.
• Support installation & commissioning activities as required (limited travel involved).
• Report project progress to management and customer on a regular basis.

Preferred candidate profile

• 48 years of proven experience in project management within:

• PCB Plating / Electroplating plants
• Paint shop / Chemical plants o Automation / Process equipment industry • Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, execution, and handover.
• Hands-on experience with SAP PS module for project control.
• Proficiency in MS Project and MS Office suite.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for customer interaction.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and risk management skills.

Preferred attributes

• PMP certification (added advantage).

• Willingness to travel occasionally for customer visits / site meetings as per project phases.

• Leadership potential to manage small to mid-sized projects independently.
