We have been mandated by a large conglomerate into Iron and Steel business for the below mentioned role . Position Title: Head Projects ( Steel Making & Iron Making ) Location: Jamshedpur Qualification : BE / B Tech Mechanical Experience: 25 + Years Purpose of the role : This incumbent will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project management, from inception to completion, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This role requires extensive experience in the steel industry, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of project management principles and methodologies. Key Responsibilities : 1. Adept in managing Erection & commissioning activities involving resource planning, team building and coordination with Internal / External Departments . 2. Keeping an Alert Eye & Maintaining Strictness regarding safety measures according to the policies of Steel plant. 3. Checking the installation as per provided General Assembly(G.A.) Drawing provided by the suppliers. 4. Provided Ideas & Modifications in the planning, setting priorities, developing a work schedule, monitoring progress towards goals, and tracking details/data/information/activities. 5. Proficient in all stages of project development and implementation, with commissioning of project equipment for safe operation & enhancing operational effectiveness of equipment's & Generating Material Indents & follow up From Commercial Department. 6. Implemented all ERM Safety Initiatives viz. Safety Observation, contract audit, and Incidence Investigation, fatality potential recommendations. 7. Root cause failure analysis for problems and timely recommendation for prevention. 8. Co-ordination with maintenance, civil & Assembly departments for smoother Project Work. 9. Handling man-power, educating them, to take part in discussion with seniors, sub ordinates for minimizing delays, wastage & for smoother Project Work 10. Doing The Quality Inspection of the supplied equipment's provided by the manufacturer & keep alert eye on storage of the equipment in good condition.
