Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Scheduling:

    Develop comprehensive project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables. They create detailed timelines and schedules, setting milestones and coordinating various activities to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Budget and Cost Management:

    Estimate project costs, manage budgets, track expenses, and ensure the project remains financially viable. This includes reviewing and approving invoices, managing change orders, and reallocating funds when necessary.
  • Resource Allocation and Team Leadership:

    Determine and acquire necessary resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials. They hire, lead, and coordinate a multi-disciplinary team, assigning tasks and providing guidance to team members, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Risk Management:

    Identify potential project risks (e.g., material shortages, safety hazards, design issues) and develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize their impact on project timelines and costs.
  • Quality Control and Safety Management:

    Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and building codes. They oversee the quality of work, conduct site inspections, and verify that construction methods and materials meet specifications and industry standards.
  • Stakeholder Communication and Coordination:

    Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders. They provide regular updates through detailed reports and meetings, manage expectations, and resolve any conflicts or issues that arise.
  • Documentation and Compliance:

    Obtain necessary permits, licenses, and approvals from regulatory authorities. They maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, drawings, reports, and progress records, for legal and archival purposes.
  • Contract Negotiation and Management:

    Negotiate contracts with external vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure favorable terms and compliance with project requirements.

Preferable Candidates :

Must have experience large scale projects in Lift Irrigation, Canals, Water Supply
