Job Description

Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Execution Oversee the complete lifecycle of furniture projects from design finalization to manufacturing and site installation. Break down client briefs into manufacturing, material, and manpower plans. Prepare and manage project schedules, execution timelines, and resource allocation. Manufacturing Coordination Coordinate with the factory team for production scheduling, quality assurance, and dispatch planning. Ensure raw material procurement and inventory are aligned with project needs. Approve production drawings, prototypes, and QC checklists before execution. Site Supervision & Installation Plan and supervise furniture delivery and installation at retail andial fit-out sites. Monitor site progress and coordinate with contractors and civil teams as needed. Resolve on-site technical issues and ensure compliance with design intent. Client & Stakeholder Management Act as the primary point of contact for clients and consultants for all project-related communications. Attend client meetings, provide updates, and ensure alignment with expectations. Handle approvals, variations, and closure documentation. Reporting & Documentation Maintain project trackers, update weekly progress reports, and flag delays or risks. Track and manage project costs, budgets, and billing milestones. Ensure all statutory and safety compliances are met on-site. Key Skills & Competencies Strong project management and multitasking ability. Expertise in modular and custom furniture manufacturing processes. Ability to read AutoCAD drawings and design schematics. Team leadership and site coordination skills. Working knowledge of MS Project, Excel, and project tracking tools. Good verbal and written communication in English & Hindi. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Interior Design / Civil Engineering / Architecture / Industrial Design / Production. PMP or equivalent project management certification (preferred but not mandatory). Experience Minimum 8 to 12 years of experience in handling retail & commercial furniture/interior projects. At least 3 years in a leadership or project head capacity, preferably in a fitout + furniture firm.
