Project Finance Specialist

Role Overview: You will be responsible for credit appraisal of clients by conducting detailed credit evaluation of incoming leads based on financials, industry reports, and market information. You will also be involved in financial modelling and determining risk-adjusted prices, as well as evaluating Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), Shareholders Agreements (SHAs), and any other agreements. Additionally, you will be required to conduct portfolio audits and be open to taking up any other related tasks. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare Information Memorandum (IM) to establish the viability of Project/Company operations - Develop Financial Model for raising project finance/refinancing of assets and obtaining necessary sanctions - Review, negotiate, and close term sheets and loan agreements - Ensure end-to-end PCC/PDC compliance, post-sanction and ongoing compliances - Coordinate with various agencies such as TEV, LIE, Valuation, Legal counsel, etc. - Build and maintain relationships with Banks, Financial Institutions, NBFCs, Credit Funds, and Strategic Investors - Liaise with other departments to gather required information - Manage audit-related queries Qualifications Required: - Strong background in finance, specifically in credit appraisal and debt fund raising - Experience in financial modelling, risk assessment, and agreement evaluation - Knowledge of compliance procedures and regulations related to project finance - Excellent communication and negotiation skills - Ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders (Note: Any additional details of the company were not included in the provided job description),
