Project Engineering Manager

As a member of Cubic Transportation Systems, you will be responsible for providing Installation Bid and Estimation, Project Engineering, and Implementation technical expertise to various departments within the company. Your role will involve analyzing high-risk bids and proposals, determining equipment requirements, and producing installation estimates for new or variation works. You will also be in charge of client liaison, control of installation works, budgets, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze and review high-risk bids and proposals, determine equipment requirements, and produce installation estimates. - Liaise with clients to agree on scope, site access, program, enabling works, and transition plans. - Manage installation works including documentation, subcontract requirements, material control, site access, installation, commissioning, handover, and documentation. - Control installation budgets, record variations for cost recovery, and liaise with Project Management to ensure program and budget estimates are met. - Promote cooperation and collaboration across all Cubic teams. - Provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve technical issues during bid responses, project engineering, and implementation. - Work closely with the Installation Manager to train and develop the Installation team. - Implement improvement programs for product development and technical transition. - Communicate effectively with senior management on technical issues. - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies. Qualifications Required: - Experience in bid and estimation, project engineering, and implementation. - Strong technical expertise and leadership skills. - Knowledge of statutory health and safety regulations. - Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with various stakeholders. - Commitment to continuous improvement and adherence to company policies and procedures.
