Project Engineer

As a Chemical Engineer at SIEC, you will play a crucial role in the engineering and execution team by designing treatment systems and overseeing field delivery. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and General Arrangement (GA) drawings. - Running process simulations and technical evaluations for STPs, ETPs, and industrial water treatment plants. - Coordinating with internal design and project teams to ensure alignment of engineering packages with execution timelines. - Conducting site visits to supervise installation, commissioning, and testing, ensuring accurate implementation of process designs. - Providing technical support on-site, troubleshooting operational issues, and driving design optimizations. - Ensuring compliance with environmental standards and safety protocols during design and execution. - Collaborating with vendors, consultants, and clients for technical discussions and review meetings. Qualifications required for this role: - B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering (or equivalent). - 0-2 years of hands-on experience in process design and project execution. - Strong command of AutoCAD and familiarity with process simulation and design. - Practical knowledge of wastewater, STP, ETP, or related treatment systems. - Comfortable working across design and field environments, with a willingness to travel for site assignments. - Excellent communication, documentation, and coordination skills.
