Project Engineer

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Execution & Installation

• Oversee end-to-end execution of utility-scale solar plants (5 MW 500 MW+) and PM-KUSUM installations (solar pumps, decentralized solar plants, feeder-level solarization).
  
• Supervise MMS erection, module installation, DC/AC cabling, inverter/ string combiner box setup, SCADA/communication installation, switchyard work, and HT yard construction.
  
• Monitor civil works including foundations, inverter/RT rooms, boundary walls, approach roads, and drainage works.
  
• Ensure execution follows MNRE, CEA, DISCOM, and state-specific KUSUM technical guidelines.

  Role & responsibilities

2. Quality Control & Assurance

• Conduct inspections for MMS alignment, torque checks, cable routing, earthing pits, inverter installation, and switchyard equipment.
  
• Maintain Material Inspection Reports (MIRs), Inspection Test Reports (ITRs), and quality checklists as per EPC and MNRE standards.
  
• Ensure all materials used are MNRE-approved and comply with ALMM and BIS requirements where applicable.
  

3. Safety & Compliance

• Implement site-level HSE guidelines; conduct toolbox talks and ensure PPE usage.
  
• Coordinate with safety officers to ensure accident-free execution.
  
• Ensure compliance with statutory and utility safety norms during installation and commissioning.
