1. Job Title: Project Engineer 2. Basic Requirements • Educational Qualification : B.E/B. Tech or Diploma (Mechanical/Mechatronics) • Age : 23 26 years • Gender : Male • Experience : 1 3 years • Industry Type : Factory Automation, Industrial Machinery Safety, Machine Guarding Solutions, Mechanical Design & Installation • Location : Pune/ Delhi • Reporting : Project Manager 4. Purpose of the Job : Below mentioned responsibilities are required for handling Pre- & After-Sales support Support for Pre-Sales Activity a) Understand customer requirements, gather input from departments like Maintenance, Production, EHS, and Projects b) Suggest mechanical solutions for guarding, enclosures, or mechanical hazard mitigation c) Discuss proposed solution with safety consultants and ensure compliance to standards (ISO 13857, EN ISO 14120, etc.) d) Identify suitable mechanical fabricators or integrators e) Prepare scope of work and get BOQ/quotation from vendors f) Share complete proposal including layout and details to Pre-Sales Team Execution of Turnkey Projects a) Review risk assessment reports and validate mechanical scope against safety requirements b) Coordinate with vendors for manufacturing and installation activities c) Confirm final specifications and technical points before issuing PO d) Prepare project Gantt chart with clear milestones, especially identifying shutdown-related tasks e) Track time and activities as per defined formats (offline/online tasks) f) Validate vendor material readiness and communicate dispatch plan to Sales team g) Ensure EHS norms compliance for both internal and vendor teams at site h) Plan and execute site visits at start and end of project implementation I) Weekly update on project progress vs. Gantt chart j) Conduct on-site daily reviews (GEMBA meetings) and share MOM internally k) Get daily progress reports from vendors and communicate to internal and client stakeholders l) Project closure and handover to customer m) Coordinate validation with consultant and submit final compliance report n) Obtain completion certificate from customer and notify Sales 5. Major Activities / Principal Accountabilities • Support Sales team in identifying feasible mechanical safety solutions • Coordinate installation and validation of mechanical safety components • Provide technical documentation and warranty-related data for installed systems • Suggest mechanical design improvements and solutions for safety retrofitting • Ensure timely closure of service and project-related issues • Support in root cause analysis and report preparation • Maintain good coordination with mechanical vendors and fabrication partners • Prepare validation documentation and project handover reports 6. Core Skills • Proficient in AutoCAD/Mechanical CAD Software (Creo/SolidWorks) • Understanding of Industrial Safety Standards (EN ISO 14120, ISO 13857, etc.) • Good knowledge of mechanical integration with automation • Knowledge of machine design principles and material handling equipment • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools • Ability to interpret and implement risk assessment findings 7. Behavioural Skills • Self-driven and solution-oriented • Open to travel Pan India and site work • Good communication and documentation skills • Quick learner and collaborative • Strong organizational and follow-up abilities • Ability to manage vendors and deadlines effectively 8. Knowledge • Knowledge of machine guarding standards, panels, and interlocks • Understanding of mechanical hazards and safety compliance needs • Experience in handling field installations, mechanical retrofitting, and modifications • Familiarity with project tracking, vendor management, and safety audits • Insight into industry best practices for machinery safety • Basic knowledge of electrical interfaces related to mechanical safety components (optional but preferred) • Awareness of competitor solutions and industry trends • Added value knowledge of Industry 4.0 mechanical applications is a plus
