Project Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Project Management

  : Plan, coordinate, and manage engineering projects from inception to completion. Ensure projects adhere to timelines, budgets, and specifications.

• Technical Oversight

  : Provide technical guidance and support for design and production teams. Review engineering drawings, specifications, and project plans.

• Client Interaction

  : Communicate with clients to understand their requirements and ensure project deliverables meet or exceed their expectations. Provide regular project updates(Weekly Updates to Client on Mail for Manufacturing and Procurement Status. S Curve should Be Shared with Client).

• Quality Assurance

  : Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure all products meet industry and client standards. Conduct regular inspections and tests.

• Resource Management

  : Allocate resources effectively, including materials, equipment, and personnel, to optimize project efficiency and minimize downtime.

• Risk Management

  : Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Address and resolve any technical issues that arise during the project lifecycle.

• Documentation

  : Maintain accurate records of project activities, including engineering drawings, project plans, and progress reports. Prepare documentation for project handover.

• Process Improvement

  : Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

• Collaboration

  : Work closely with design, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless project execution. Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers as needed.

• Compliance

  : Ensure all projects comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies.

• Time Management: Ensure Metal Space & Wood Production Material Received on Schedule, Ensure Dispatch as Per Project Timeline.

Technical Proficiency

• In-depth knowledge of quality assurance processes and standards. Experience with implementing and maintaining quality control systems.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Education

  :
• Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience

  :
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project engineering or a related field, preferably within the manufacturing of industrial-grade furniture or similar products.
• Experience in managing build-to-print and build-to-specs projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Project Management (PMP or similar).
• Experience with ERP systems for project and resource management.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to industrial-grade furniture and turnkey projects.
